Back to the Coast.
June 19 - 20th
A relaxing day driving up the coast was how I celebrated the 19th. I watched seals sunbath in the secluded Whale Cove (above) then spotted a mother gray whale and her calf (below) swimming up and down the aptly named stretch of coast.
Tuesday I headed up to Pacific City, Oregon, per a Ben recommendation, where I explored the Cape Kiwanda Marine Garden. After I treated myself to a birthday beer with a fish-n-chips lunch at Pelican Brewing.
