In and around Denver.

Dec 8th, 2022

I caught up with my cousin Danny over a delicious burrito lunch from Taco Selene, they had a “gut truck” that fed the local army base he was stationed on before retiring. Having not spent time with Danny since I was a little kid at our grandparent's house, it was great catching up. Thanks again for letting me spend the evening with you and April!

It’s good to be humbled on occasion. Thanks Chris!

dec 3rd, hiking the first and second flatirons outside boulder

After the Flatiron elevation exercise, a second RiNo jam session stretched our music muscles.

Shout-out to Art for letting me butcher his lyrics yet again!

Nov 26th-27th, montezuma

I had the fortunate opportunity to hurl myself into a high-altitude run twice. First up Webster Pass, to a beautiful remote valley. And again, after a brief hydration break, along Deer Creek. My only regret was not toting a snowboard to elevate the descent. Hopefully, next time!!

Nov 25th, Rino

My day exploring RiNo with Chris, Caitlin, and our friend Art started with one of Denver's many Movement climbing gyms. Following was a tasty beverage to replenish energy at Improper City and fuel a jam session at RocketSpace Rehearsal Studios. My minimal bass playing and vocal skills were required briefly, thankfully, with lyrics by Art. Caitlin and I then let Chris and Art exercise their musical muscles while we toured more of RiNo. With our legs sufficiently stretched, we waited with samples of OMF (Our Mutual Friend) Brewing's beverages for Chris and Art to finish their rocking.

It is always amazing to discover the talent of those around you. I look forward to our next jam session!
